ExpoCycle Moves to Montreal For 2003

The Bicycle Trade Association of Canada announced today it would be moving its ExpoCycle show to Montreal in 2003. ExpoCycle is the national trade show for the cycling industry in Canada. Slated for September 14, 15 and 16 2003 ExpoCycle will take place at Place Bonaventure in downtown Montreal.

"We are very excited about the move to Montreal and the feedback from the industry has been tremendously positive,” stated Janet O'Connell Executive Director of BTAC. After consulting with industry retailers and suppliers the decision was made to move ExpoCycle to Montreal. Currently BTAC is planning ExpoCycle to return to Toronto in 2004 and future locations will be evaluated.

Added to the excitement is the possible addition of a Demo Day on the Saturday preceding the show. We have been asked numerous times by exhibitors and retailers to look at adding a Demo Day to the show; at this point we are looking at holding it in Bromont, Quebec. We are in the planning stages on this and will be looking to the industry again for input and feedback in order to provide a successful event.

The Bicycle Trade Association of Canada is a non-profit trade association of Independent bicycle retailers, manufacturers and cycling industry suppliers.
